The Christianity section needs to be deleted or clarified.[edit]
The Christianity section is largely modern fiction based on the film Zeitgeist and some Astrology nonsense. While this may be relevant in some contexts to have this material addressed the fact that it's completely made up and entirely modern is a problem. You can't make the Christian God a sun-god the whole elemental god thing was out of vogue at the time. And while some dying and rising gods had some allegorical connections to the sun rising and setting and the seasons changing this was largely to incorporate the older gods of those regions. But, nothing in Judaism had the god a sun god or any of these same connections. Yahweh was originally a war god, and the specious, entirely modern, zodiac connections are not accepted within modern scholarship (to put that lightly). I'm not interested in arguing with someone who thinks being "one of the largest world religions" is reason for filling an encyclopedia article with tangential junk! Hopefully a more dedicated and experienced editor will fix this. 76.135.106.145 (talk) 08:36, 18 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
